Matt Smith, Pastor
Matt has been at IBC since 2006.
He has been in ministry since 1986 as a Student Ministry and later a full time pastor.
Matt is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University and has master's degrees from
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and
Trinity Theological Seminary.
He is married to Krista
and has two boys, Josiah and Noah.
Matt enjoys a good
clean joke, Pepsi, snickerdoodles, golf and bird hunting.
Sam Simmons, Student Minister
Sam grew up in Blackwell as a part of the student ministry at IBC.
He graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University and has spend nearly

years as a Student and Music minister at a church in the Shawnee area.
IBC
called him back home as full time Student Minister this month.
He
will begin serving IBC July 18th as he leads our students to Falls Creek camp.
Sam is married to Allison, who also grew up in Blackwell and has a teaching degree.
Allison also loves working with students.

Jose Montiel, Mission Pastor
He is a native of El Rosario, located near Guadalajara Mexico.
He is married to Mary and they have four children: Carmen, Emmanuel, Joseph and Lydia.
He likes running, salsa and coffee....a lot!
